Bungie is also going to reduce both the number of lives and the round timer in Survival mode, and begin awarding points for kills in addition to crests in Supremacy mode. We're also seeing some tweaks to the rules in the rest of the Crucible, including some that make the Mercy Rule easier to trigger in what appears to be all modes, hopefully reducing the amount of time the game asks you to hang around in punishing matches just to get the credit for finishing the things. With this patch, we should be able to get back to playing the game's apex PvP activity this weekend. Which is all fun and games until it interferes with PvP balance and requires Bungie to shut down Trials of the Nine for two weekends, which is exactly what happened.

The other possibility for any major changes could involve Pulse Grenades which are laughably powerful right now. Having an unlimited supply of ammo for one of the highest damaging rocket launchers in the game is an exceptionally powerful tool to have. This is a possible game-changing bug that can make the raid and Nightfall far easier than they are supposed to be. The most obvious centers around the Exotic rocket launcher the Wardiff Coil which currently has a bug that instantly gives back all of its ammo. Īs for what’s getting updated, there are a number of possibilities that Bungie could be looking at. This update will be for both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, so make sure plan for your raid and other reset activities to take place after this has concluded. Remember, that during this time your Destiny Companion App will not function properly along with the main page where you log into your profile. Of course, these times are subject to change, as Bungie is known for either extending or shortening the length of server maintenance.
