G Series is a network license that has server-based protection. B Series customers are being transitioned to E Series licenses. B Series licenses will be retired as of Version 2023 and are no longer available for purchase. The B series is workstation-based dongle protection, so you must have your dongle plugged into your machine to use the software. They allow customers to activate and use the program without an internet connection, although a connection is required for any updates to the software. B Seriesī Series licenses are single-seat and dongle-activated. You do not need a constant internet connection to use this type of license however, you must connect to the internet at least once every 30 days to maintain your license’s active status.

You can download an E Series onto two computers, but you can only actively use your software on one device at a time.
